ArcPro 3.6.2 and a few versions before it are a hanging occasionally when exporting map series to JPG, or PNG. It like in the attached image. The only fix is to to save the document close the program and reopen it. It will continue to function until you do enough work that it decides not to work again. Since I can't stop the attempted export I can't try exporting in another format until I restart the program, and in that case I know it will work in the normal JPG fashion.
Has anyone experienced this before? It's happening to 3 or 4 people in my office but I can't find anything about this issue. I closed and reopened around 15 times earlier this week to get a project done.
Export Settings:
Resolution: 300 DPI, Compression: Max Quality, 24-bit True Color
Hi @DRose9
How many pages are in the map series? Perhaps try fewer pages to see if that is the issue.
Have you tried disabling the hardware acceleration? Project > Options > Display > Hardware Acceleration
I would recommend raising this with distributor technical support team as this could be a bug with Pro.
Anywhere from 3 to 15 pages, and selections of pages from the full group.
I don't have any hardware acceleration on (hardware antialiasing is unchecked)
Thanks for the idea.
