When I recently upgraded to version 3.6, the classified ground in ArcGIS Pro was somewhat inferior to version 3.2. The number and quality of the point cloud for classification were not as good as in the previous version.
Thank you for reporting this.
We have not observed any general degradation in the ground classification quality in 3.6. We have implemented enhancements to improve classification performance, particularly for dense photogrammetric point clouds. However, these updates may influence results for certain datasets.
To help us investigate, could you please provide the following information?
- A sample dataset so we can attempt to reproduce the issue
- The exact tool settings used
- A comparison of the results between the previous version and 3.6 (screenshots or statistics would be helpful)
Thank you.
