Hi all,

I'm having an issue deleting an existing relationship class. I made this class about six months ago. I'm getting back to it now. I typically access the relationship class via the catalog pane. When I select delete I get the error," Delete item [ProcessStart]: Start Time: Monday, January 27, 2025 12:53:59 PM
Delete item [Error]: ERROR 160227: The application is not licensed to perform this operation
Delete item [Error]: Failed to execute (Delete).
Delete item [ProcessEnd]: Failed at Monday, January 27, 2025 12:53:59 PM (Elapsed Time: 0.23 seconds)"

The date and time are specific because I ran the operation at that time as an example.

I have a Basic license. To my understanding creating and deleting relationship classes is included in my license. Am I wrong in this?

Thanks!

Did you have a Basic level license when you created it? As of 3.2 you do in fact need a standard or advanced license to create and delete relationship classes:

https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/3.2/help/data/relationships/viewing-and-modifying-relationship-pro...

However, it appears you can do at least a little more on a Basic license with a newer Pro version, though still not delete

Yeah, I had basic when I made it October '24. My GIS admin just upgraded me to Standard, and I can access create and delete relationship classes again. Shame basic can't do that. Thanks for replying to me!
