I'm using ArcGIS Pro 3.1.2 and am having trouble getting the grid labels to show the correct values at large scales. My map is using the British National Grid coordinate system but I have created a layout with a grid showing latitude and longitude in decimal degrees so that I can print some large maps for others to annotate to show the locations of plants within particular buildings at our botanic garden so that we can then obtain the lat/long coordinates for them.
The problem is that some of the grid labels are showing different values to the interior labels. I attach the map layout and screenshots of the settings I've used for the grids. As far as I can tell the grid labels and interior grid labels have identical settings but one of the displayed longitude values on the grid label (-41.1710) is out by 0.0001 degree, whilst the interior label for the same grid line (-41.1709) is correct. Likewise both latitude grid labels are 0.0001 degree greater than the corresponding interior labels (which are correct).
Can anyone explain what is going wrong and suggest how I could correct it please?
I'm sorry about that! Can you show the labeling tags for each label type? It could be a rounding difference depending on the number of decimals set in the labeling tags.
