I am new in the use of this software, so I am not sure if it is a bug or something I am doing wrong. I’m using ArcMAP 10.7.1, I have a “master” shapefile with all the points in my work and separated by a feature by creating a new layer from the selected feature. However, upon opening the same document, the layer shows in the table of contents either to be empty or with seemly random points instead of the ones it had when it was created. Is there a way to fix this? Or an reason for this to happen?
