I downloaded the 1 gigabyte ArcGIS Raster Data file from My ESRI and installed it. But I can't see any way to find the data. The folder I installed to is about a gigabyte but has no usable rasters. There is a cab file but it doesn't contain rasters. Does anybody know how to use this dataset? Googling and searching turns up nothing useful, because the words are all generic.

This is the page I downloaded ArcGIS Raster Data from https://my.esri.com/#/downloads/product?product=ArcGIS%20Pro&version=3.1

Double-click on the *.msi file to run it (or right-click run), it will extract the files in the *.cab

I did install it. But after it's installed, how do you use the data?

For anyone who stumbles on this page because they also had an issue with this (as I did this morning 😅), here's the thing:

  1. The initial file from my.esri.com is dumped in your default downloads location.
  2. When you click that to "install", it dumps these files in another location, in my case an ArcGIS 11 folder in my Documents folder. This is where OP and I were looking, and there's nothing there to load.
  3. When you actually install by clicking the .exe or .msi file (or just follow through with the initial installation), it dumps the actual usable data in a THIRD location. You can specify this location during install, but I (and probably OP) breezed by this without noting. For me the default location of the actual usable files (you can add their containing folder as a favorite in Pro, then access) is C:\Program Files\ArcGIS\RasterData\WorldElevation.
