Hi everyone,
I am trying to calculate the distance from a bunch of sampling sites to dams, but want to know the distance of the river between each sampling site to the dam, not the Euclidean distance. Any idea of how to accomplish this?
I've looked into the "near" tool and the "locate features along routes" tools but they seem to have trouble when the river has multiple arms...
