How do I troubleshoot the copy features tool?

I am trying to copy a layer, but am only getting one feature once I complete the operation. I select the layer, go to to data, export data, and that puts me at "copy features." Once I copy the target layer I only get one tiny portion of the target layer. I have tried to perform this function with all features in the target layer selected and with no features selected.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you!

Okay - in the Catalog Pane, copy/paste the feature class to a new file geodatabase and see if the Copy Features GP tool works as expected.  What is the result of the Copy Features tool?

In the Environments of the Copy Features GP tool, is your Processing Extent set to Default or some other value such as Current Display Extent?

Thanks! Copying with copy features into a new geodatabase seems to work.
