I have created a domain list to be used within an 'Assigned' field for assigning fieldwork. I initially created a domain list and then started to do some field calculating to populate many features that fall within each assignment. However, I then had to go back and add another code to the domain list and now the field calculator will not recognize it as a coded value. I can select it from the dropdown within the attribute table, but it will not populate using the field calculator. It will populate codes 1-10 from the original list, but not 11 which was added after.
I tried unchecking the 'Enforce Domains' from the field calculator tool and it will populate the desired value, but then it is not recognized within that code and does not symbolize correctly.
I restarted Pro. I tried removing the domain list and readding it to the field. No luck.
Is the answer to entirely recreate the domain and start over?? Are we not meant to add additional values to our domain list?? Send help.
It is not a matter of field length as the suggested solution states in this ESRI article.

What release of ArcGIS Pro are you using?
Shot in the dark, but does restarting the feature service or restarting Pro help? Sometimes ArcGIS can cache domain code lists for longer than you'd think.
