I geocode multiple csv files once a month using the Geocode Table button that's available when you right click a table.
After updating to 3.4.2 in February, I ran into an issue where I would go through the same process I always do, but get stuck with perpetual loading bar and a grayed out "Next" button at Step 4 of 6 (Output). I called tech support about it last month, hoping to log a bug. They claimed it might have something to do with that the files I was geocoding were coming from cloud storage, rather than a file stored directly on my device. While moving the file I was using to my desktop did allow me to proceed past Step 4, I have been doing this process the exact same way every month for 2 years now. The only thing that changed about this process in February was the version of Pro I was using.
Then they said it was probably something wrong with my Pro install. I ended up doing 3 soft resets of my ArcGIS Pro install before I was able to proceed past step 4. Well now it's March, and I'm trying to do my monthly geocode, and I'm running into the same exact issue again.
Is anybody else having an issue with the Geocode Table tool? I really don't want to do multiple more soft resets of Pro to fix this every month. It's time consuming, and clearly not solving my problem.
*I'll note that I prefer to use the Geocode Table button over the Geocode Addresses geoprocessing tool, because the Geocode Table button has the built in review steps at the end, which I almost always need. So it's just a convenience thing, but it bothers me that the tool suddenly isn't working the way it has always worked for me.
In 3.4.1 I had the same issue using the geocoding wizard. I have had success using the geocoding tool when I used the option, "Go to the tool" and added the required information. It may be interesting to note, prior to doing so, I had created a "view" of the address locator and within the view, I set it to only geocode within my country of origin which is one of the later steps. If using the World Geocoder, if you don't estimate the service credits in the beginning step, it will not allow you to run. Once you do, it geocodes successfully. I'll try this again without using the Geocoder view and also add a video or screenshots. If anyone needs more information, reach out.
