Geocode Table tool not working

I geocode multiple csv files once a month using the Geocode Table button that's available when you right click a table.

After updating to 3.4.2 in February, I ran into an issue where I would go through the same process I always do, but get stuck with perpetual loading bar and a grayed out "Next" button at Step 4 of 6 (Output). I called tech support about it last month, hoping to log a bug. They claimed it might have something to do with that the files I was geocoding were coming from cloud storage, rather than a file stored directly on my device. While moving the file I was using to my desktop did allow me to proceed past Step 4, I have been doing this process the exact same way every month for 2 years now. The only thing that changed about this process in February was the version of Pro I was using.

Then they said it was probably something wrong with my Pro install. I ended up doing 3 soft resets of my ArcGIS Pro install before I was able to proceed past step 4. Well now it's March, and I'm trying to do my monthly geocode, and I'm running into the same exact issue again.

Is anybody else having an issue with the Geocode Table tool? I really don't want to do multiple more soft resets of Pro to fix this every month. It's time consuming, and clearly not solving my problem.

*I'll note that I prefer to use the Geocode Table button over the Geocode Addresses geoprocessing tool, because the Geocode Table button has the built in review steps at the end, which I almost always need. So it's just a convenience thing, but it bothers me that the tool suddenly isn't working the way it has always worked for me.

Glad to see I'm not the only one having this issue. It's exactly as you described. I've run this process multiple times, and I'm getting the same result. I was using ver. 3.4.1. Updated to 3.4.2 yesterday hoping that would fix it. The problem remains the same. Does anyone out there know what's going on here?

I don't have a fix but I wanted to chime in to show support as I have this issue as well. I'm jealous you get to step 4 though, I get the endless loading on step 3 every time. I haven't been keeping track but I swear this has been happening for at least 6 months for me. I get by it using the geocode addresses tool but it would be nice if this was working again.

If, instead of using the Geocode Table guided tasks, we instead go to the geoprocessing pane and try using the Geocode Addresses tool, does the behavior change? Or does it still just spin?

I've been successful with using the Geocode Addresses tool from the Geoprocessing pane in the meantime. That tool just lacks the pop-up upon completion of geocoding that asks if you want to start rematching addresses. And I almost always need to rematch addresses due to bad data entry from users. I have had no issue with the Geocode Addresses tool's ability to function, but to me, the UI/UX of the Geocode Table button having everything neatly bundled into one smooth process is far better than having to run multiple tools to achieve the same result as the one, guided, step by step tool.

I am having the same issue before and after the upgrade.

I updated to 3.4.3, and while I'm still having this issue with the Geocode Table button, now when I click on the Geocode Table button, there's a "Go to Tool" button in the window that appears that I don't believe was there before (??). If I click that, it looks like the Geocode Addresses tool window, but after geocoding, I have been prompted to start rematching tied/unmatched points. So that works I guess?
