Good Morning,
I am working with usgs river gages and satellite Orbit paths and I am trying to create an attribute field that shows the distance between the gage and the nearest orbit path in km. I am doing this for the entirety of the United states, and my current map is projected in an Albers Equal Area Conic projection. I have been using the 'near' tool to add an attribute field but the field get populated with a distance in the map units and I can't figure out how to have the distance be displayed in km. Any advice on how to best do this?
