I've got a file geodatabase table that's behaving oddly. I have a text column that I intended to use to join the table to a feature class but for some reason most of the values in this column cannot be selected or used in a join. There are about a dozen out of 200 records that can be selected by the value in this column but the rest act as if they are null; I can see them, but when I try to use Select By Attributes to select one of them, it selects nothing.
I have worked around this problem by calculating this column's values into a new one which behaves normally. Has anyone seen this behavior before?
