I am trying to replicate the following tutorial presented by Matt Heist and David Alvarez last month: https://www.esri.com/arcgis-blog/products/arcgis-pro/3d-gis/from-bim-to-dashboard-building-a-3d-cons....
However, when attempting to share the layer as a 3D Object Scene Layer or Multipatch, I receive the following error:
hbeam 265 LocalWebSceneLayer Stalin Sulbaran https://www.arcgis.com/ sulbaransj 2026-05-11 15:03:39 Status: InProgress StatusMessage: Failed to check publishing scene service status
hbeam 265 LocalWebSceneLayer Stalin Sulbaran https://www.arcgis.com/ sulbaransj 2026-05-11 15:03:41 Status: Failed ErrorMessage: Failed to publish scene service

I attempted to publish the 3D Object Scene Layer or Multipatch using the “Share As a Web Layer” workflow, since the objective is to create a 3D dashboard with the objects (soldier piles) coming from an IFC model with attribute information, in order to visualize their movement over time.
I have previously used this workflow to monitor excavation progress and foundation status from BIM models in AGOL, and it worked without issues in earlier versions of ArcGIS Pro (3.x). However, it has been frustrating trying different approaches and consistently receiving errors in every attempt.
What could the issue be? Unfortunately, we had to stop using AGOL and return to CAD workflows to produce plans showing the monitoring of the soldier piles, losing a significant amount of effort and time in the process.
P. D. I'm using ArcGIS Pro 3.6.4.
I am working with ArcPro 3.7.0 in an Enterprise environment(12.0) and I got the same error as you. My sample multipatch produces the following :
OneMP 45 LocalWebSceneLayer ArcGIS Enterprise https://*** *** 2026-05-16 16:42:07 Status: InProgress StatusMessage: Publishing web scene layer
OneMP 45 LocalWebSceneLayer ArcGIS Enterprise https://*** *** 2026-05-16 16:42:14 Status: InProgress StatusMessage: Failed to check publishing scene service status

OneMP 45 LocalWebSceneLayer ArcGIS Enterprise https://*** *** 2026-05-16 16:42:30 Status: Failed ErrorMessage: Failed to publish web layer
I have a case open with Esri, I'll let you know if I got an answer.
