I've set up a very basic report, I left many of the default options and only moved a few things on the layout and added a map to the details section. It's a page-per-feature report, and there are 32 features in my layer, so I was expecting 32 pages. When I click export, though, it says it generates upwards of 800 pages before finally hanging and ultimately crashing. I've had this happen a few times and cannot figure out what on earth it's doing. A print preview would probably help but I don't think Pro has this. In fact, I can't even find a print button, only an export button. When I hit Ctrl+P, all I get is a 'print layout' pane that tells me I have 'No active layout, report, or map' despite having a report open.
I'm not really sure how to diagnose this but I would like to get my report done. I've never used reports before and am not really sure what could be wrong; I didn't expect the default options to break the thing. Have others run into this?
Well, this sounds frustrating. Can you email me so I can get more information? arajendran@esri.com
Thanks!
I have the same issue with the latest ArcGIS Pro 3.0.3. Did you ever find a solution to this?
I think I had to start from scratch, and even then, the number of bugs I encountered was infuriating. If you're not too far along, I'd recommend doing whatever you can to avoid having to use the reports feature. It's far from stable.
