Hello all,

I am trying to export features from the highlighted polygon. I have a parcel layer, titled "Parcel with Year Built" and another layer, "JCSUD CCN." I am trying to export all parcels within the highlight CCN/polygon, this may be obvious but I need to also keep attributes and symbology associated with the "Parcel with Year Built" layer. Unfortunately, I do not have the 'Spatial Analyst license' which would provide access to tool that would help with this. I have the standard license, so please keep in mind I cannot use most, helpful tools. (Bummer, I know.) Once I have that figured out, I will also need to export as shapefile. I have attached image of highlighted polygon.

I am using ArcGIS Pro 3.1.0 and will be wanting to upload shapefile to Map Viewer.

Please help and thank you!

select your Parcels using the selected CCN polygon

input - parcels

relationship - intersect

selecting features - CCN polygon

search distance - leave blank

selection type - new selection

https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/mapping/navigation/select-features-by-location.htm

then export selected features - right-click on the layer in table of contents -> Data - > Export features

This did work! But I wanted to ask, is there anyway to specify which parcels I will be including? When using 'select layer by location' tool, I chose "completely contains" and "completely within" and received the same results. I am trying to keep the parcels together by project, I will attach example. That is a subdivision that crosses over the CCN. I am trying to make it so, the entire subdivision isn't included. I have multiple subdivisions that have been 'cut in half.' Is there a way around this?

I'm sorry I don't understand the logic you want the selection tool to follow where there are parcels which exist between multiple boundaries.  Please be explicit in how you want these handled.

I might suggest 'Intersects' as the spatial relationship but I don't know what you want from the information you've provided so far.

here is a list of the spatial relationships available to the tool - https://desktop.arcgis.com/en/arcmap/latest/map/working-with-layers/using-select-by-location.htm it's arcmap but still valid.

If you want to manually add or remove selected parcels then you can just hold down Shift and use the Select tool to click on the parcels you want added to the existing selection and then export as normal.
