Error when saving changes to domain

Hi there

I'm trying to adjust some entries in my domains, but I get the error 000535 "Workspace is not available" when I want to save them.

The suggested solution to this error is to enter a correct workspace, but I'm not really sure where I should enter the correct workspace..

I'm working with ArcGIS Pro 2.9.3 on Windows 10.

Thanks for any hints!

Hi @HalaAbdelmaksoud  I looked at this post already, but I don't see the option to disable background processing in the geoprocessing options, as suggested in the solution to this post (see screenshot).
