Error when creating feature class and long processing times

Hi,

I get an error when trying to create a feature class:

The name of the feature class is just "Test" so should not include any invalid characters.

Before I have also tried to create contours (spatial analyst), but it takes forever to load. Other tools in geoprocessing does not finish (just says "Running" for a very long time). I have clipped the raster to reduce the data amount. I am also working on a local folder on my PC.

Any ideas on the error and why processing takes such a long time?
