I keep encountering this message, have seen past solutions on how to fix it, if it is regarding a permissions facet. I have checked the destination folder, have tried a new folder, even an external hard drive and keep getting this message despite the permission all be granted. Is there somewhere I am not looking to find the correct permission? I have been right clicking on any given destination folder i have tried....

Have you attempted to delete and redownload the installation file for Pro? It looks like this error has been connected with file corruptions upon download.
Along with this, this error seems connected to SQL installations. Do you have the Microsoft ODBC driver downloaded? I would attempt the newest version along with 17 specifically.

Also @brianHerbel are you using the download manager to update pro or are you using the downloaded exe from your MyEsri?
