"Splitting Line Features failed.
General function failure [Error code: 1000. Description: Data is Null. This method or property cannot be called on Null values.. ]"

On all feature layers hosted, you cannot cut/split lines and polygons. All other edit commands work: create, modify, edit vertices, merge, etc.
The command does not work on all layers and all shapes. It is not a single line or polygon that is not cut, but all shapes.
I also tried on another feature layer hosted but the problem is the same.
Do you have any idea what it could be? Or how to solve the problem?

Having this issue too using Pro 3.2.1. I stumbled upon this as the Clip tool wasn't working, so possibly worth checking this functions too as part of fixing mentioned bug.

I've had some co-workers also report the issue. A Bug Report link would be helpful.

I raised a ticket about this with Esri support. The latest reply from them refers to:

BUG-000169819: Split and Divide tools in ArcGIS Pro return error when using hosted features services from ArcGIS Online. Errors: General function failure [Error code: 1000. Description: Data is Null. This method or property cannot be called on Null values.. ] or Split failed. Geometry must intersect polylines and polygons in two or more places.

This is now being investigated by Esri Inc, and the latest email I have has the status as "In Product Plan" and will be fixed in R2 Patch.

Not sure if that helps anyone?

I'm getting this same error when trying to edit the vertices of some hosted layers, but not all.

Hi @DanielFox1 ,

I am experiencing similar issues when trying to reshape polygons in a Hosted Feature Layer using the Align Edge tool. I have gotten a couple different errors which I will try to capture and add, but most of the time I see this error:

I am receiving the error when I try to split, copy parallel or create new features. After I receive the error most times i resubmit and then it goes through. Any one else having these issues? ArcGIS Pro 3.3.1
