So all of a sudden the Pro delete dialog box went tiny on me.  There is no way to make it larger again.  I can tab then hit enter to get a Yes so the buttons are there just the dialog is tiny.

This is a VM so it gets reset daily but this issue stays.

Any ideas on how to get the box back to the correct size?

Thanks

Another thing to try is

  • Open File Explorer and navigate to C:\Program Files\ArcGIS\Pro\bin
  • Right-click ArcGISPro.exe > Properties > Compatibility > Change high DPI settings
  • Check Override high DPI scaling behavior, and test System or System (Enhanced)
  • Restart Pro after each change

Perhaps this will resolve the issue you're experiencing.

Since you mentioned that this was occuring in a VM, can you change the VM resolution to a different size and see if the UI resets?  If so, then switch it back to the original resolution and try the workflow again.  Is it reproducible or a one-off?

We cannot change any of that.  Its a weird one.   Its been happening for a week now.

Okay, next idea then.  Can you do a How To: Perform an ArcGIS pro Soft Reset

Sometimes, this gets rid of strange behaviors such as this...

We cannot edit the registry.  Also this is Pro 3.5 but there is no strong name folder.   Thanks

Can you try toggling the setting "show dialog to confirm deleting data", not sure if this will work but worth a try.

Thanks but did not work.  We tried everything the last few months with no luck.

OMG that worked!  Its been like 6-8 months too.  The text does not look great anywhere in Pro but hey I will take it.

BTW had to use System.  The enhanced one went all weird and menus would not show.  Tried changing it back after just to test but no it goes back to tiny box.

This is on an Azure desktop.  I did already play with all the settings in the Windows app on resolution and such.  I have seen some issues with my laptop being 4K but I also tested my connected monitor running 1080 and its the same so that never worked out.

Thanks a lot!

@DougBrowning - excellent!  I'm glad it worked out...after 6-8 months of the mini UI boxes!  All the best!
