I am working on a web application that would ideally be simple for non-GIS professionals to make edits in. I'd like to give them the option to add and remove some predefined polygons instead of using the typical hand drawn polygon tools. The polygons we are looking to have them work with need to be a specific size and currently the best solution I have been able to come up with is giving the user the ability to copy and paste the polygon from pre-existing features.
Any advice to make this more user friendly would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
This can certainly be done in Pro https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/editing/create-a-preset-template.htm
But I don't believe it can be done in AGOL since group feature templates can't be uploaded from Pro, and the Map Viewer Classic has relatively basic drawing and attribute templates you can configure.
edit - using out-the-box tools I mean.
Thank you, David.
