Is it possible to create varying buffers around a single point(s) using a csv file?  I have multiple points with varying buffer zones depending on an activity and duration of that activity.  Thanks!

Short answer, yes, but I can't give specifics because not enough specifics were given in the question.  What is the general structure of you data?

Hi Joshua,

I have simple data files. One is a layer file created using Display XY data and it contains three points each representing a single location that will undergo various scenarios. For example, point one has 5 variables associated with it and each variable has a different buffer around the same point. I can create multiple buffers for each zone and action using the basic tools but was hoping I could automate this for all points to save time and reduce user error (me = user).

A separate table contains the variables and associated buffers.

Does that make sense?

Thanks!

Ann
