Clip and discard intersecting features while editing

I'm not sure if a bug has been report on this issue. I was attempting to clip a polygon that intersected a selected polygon and when I began the process in Pro, my system locked up. This is happened on 3 occasions now. I opened desktop and process completed in under 2 seconds. Has anyone else had this problem in Pro?

Jason, I just checked with the editing team and they are aware of a performance issue with the clip editing tool in Pro.  They're working on it. Thank you for bringing it up.  I don't know if it will be fixed in 2.0 but update to that later this month to see if clip editing performance has improved.
