At my organization I use ArcGIS pro on a desktop in a computer lab and thus have to save and copy the entire project/associated data to my google drive each time I'm done working for the day. An issue I have been running into is I can edit the metadata for feature classes when I open and work on the project in google drive. But when I copy it onto the desktop and work on it, it no longer lets me edit or view metadata for those feature classes. It says something like "This item cannot have metadata." Interestingly, I can edit metadata for the geodatabase itself, but not the classes within the geodatabase. Working in google drive is not recommended by my organization, and thus I am trying to find a workaround.
