Cannot calculate geometry with a spatial join in ArcGIS Pro 3.5.1

Will the issue be fixed regarding calculating geometry (e.g., acres) with a spatial join? I am working with a feature class from an SDE database. In ArcMap, when one created a spatial join, one ended up with a new feature class. In ArcPro 3.5.1, there is no new feature class made from a spatial join, so when one tries to calculate geometry, one gets the error below.

@Teri_Dane There are multiple ways to do spatial joins.

If you'd like to make a new feature class and run the geometry, try the geoprocessing tool.
