I'm working in ArcGIS Pro 3.2 and I've run into a bug where I'm unable to add or delete attachments from a feature on a shared layer. When the same feature is accessed using ArcGIS Online, I can edit the attachment without issue, but I would prefer to work in Pro if given the choice. After some searching, I found BUG-000138335, which perfectly describes the issue I'm having, but that bug is marked "Will Not Be Addressed". Am I SOL with regards to working on this in Pro?
Hey @SimonDowns
This definitely looks pretty frustrating, I've had a few bugs that I've encountered with this exact message before. From looking at the bug page, it reports 2.7.2, but yours is 3.2, and it says that it won't be addressed in the current product support cycle, which typically means the support cycle of the ArcGIS Pro version, maybe 2 or 2.7.
ArcGIS Pro 3.2 is currently in Mature support according to this here:
https://support.esri.com/en-us/products/arcgis-pro/life-cycle
This means you can still create a case and have online resources, but the support may not be able to release a patch to fix this.
If I were you, I would possibly update to a supported release, find if the bug is still present, and if so reach out to Esri technical support, as this bug you linked may only be relevant to 2.7.2 in their eyes, so it's undiscovered in 3.x. If you cannot upgrade past 3.2, then you can still reach out to Esri support, as even though it's in Mature support, you can still create a case!
Hopefully this gets checked out for you! I can definitely see myself hitting this same bug soon if it's still present.
