Is it possible for multiple users to access a branch version in ArcGIS Pro?

I am finding that when one user (editor) is connected to the version, no other users (read-only) can access the version.  When a user tries to connect they get a lock error.

@AndrewBowne  - this is expected behavior.  From the help documentation under limitations, it states:

"Branch versioning allows only one editor per named version or multiple readers. Once an editor begins editing in a named version, an exclusive lock is obtained and no other users can connect to that version."

Thanks @Robert_LeClair

Follow-up Question - we have a branch version for some data that we are not wanting to publish to our default version at this point.  What would be the appropriate workflow for accessing this version in Pro while another user is actively editing it?

Certainly @AndrewBowne - more than happy to assist.  With regards to your follow up question - perhaps a QAQC workflow as described here may work.
