Hello Community;  What causes such a strange graphics artifact? The attached image shows a long streak of almost parallel gray lines emanating from a polyline feature representing an Interstate Highway on its own feature layer. The artifact lines are in a west-southwest direction across the map to a east-northeast direction. I have narrowed down which polyline feature on which layer that the artifact is associated with. When I simplify the line type symbology, I can get it to go away, so its at least related to the symbology. The two gray artifact lines are not quite parallel and meet in a point. The artifact scales in and out along with zooming in and out, so the meet point moves as well.

It appears to emanate out from a sole and short segment of the polyline representing the highway. The thing is, I have several maps that have highways symbolized the same way and yet the artifact manifestation only occurs here with this one example. Why? And can it be fixed without changing symbology?   Dave

I am running Pro 3.x on a Windows 10 machine.

All;  I'd like to add I also get a lot of ideas and guidance from the inquiries into the help documentation.   Dave
