Bad Network Name

I noticed that ArcGIS Pro in the AWS environment to add a network folder takes about 1 full minute, moreover all the operations on the same share have poor performance.
Analyzing in detail the calls made by ArcGIS Pro 2.6 to the network share, I realized that 6 calls are generated for about 13 seconds each to a non-existent network folder
\\ hostname \ info
I created this network folder and the performances magically came back very fast.
I also tried on my pc with ArcGIS Pro 3.0 and connecting to another share I noticed the exact same calls, but in this case my pc solved the BadNetworkName in a few milliseconds
why are these calls made?
