Longtime Arc GIS user, absolute newb using GIS Pro. Imported existing v10x project, created new point feature class, added 12 points via mouse/cursor, added description field in table. When I tried to edit the points the attribute table and ribbon above it started flashing, and I cannot edit it at all.

Apologies for the basic question but searching documentation hasn't revealed my error.

Where did you create the point feature class (file geodatabase, enterprise geodatabase, shapefile, other)?

Default file geodatabase

If you go to the List by Editing view in the Contents Pane (left side of the UI), do you see a red exclamation point indicating broken data links?  If so, either remove those layers from the Contents Pane or fix the broken links to the data source.

Robert, no such luck.

Hi David,

Sorry this is happening. What version of Pro are you using? Can you take a recording of the behavior and send it to me?

Thanks!

Three things I saw within Esri Support Services cases was:
1.  Do you have more than 100,000 features in the feature class where the attribute is blinking?
2.  Does your PC meet the requirements for running ArcGIS Pro?  systemrequirementslab.com/client-app?refid=1256&appkey=6D681CD0-BA6C-4B6B-9A82-639759CFD094&requirem...
3.  Update video card drivers

Robert, no. There are 12 data points in the feature class. My PC pretty handily exceeds the minimums. 😊  I'll check my video card drivers. Thanks, I hadn't considered that.

Robert, the video card drivers are up to date (NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Ti).
