Hello,

I was assisting a user with a Pro project and testing different signin profiles.  While doing so, I wasn't thinking and checked the "remember me" and now I can't get that to release so I can signin as a different user.  When the user opens Pro, it's stuck to this profile.  When they signout and attempt to signin with their AD login, it remembers the previous user automatically and I can't get this to release.  Where does ArcPro remember this setting?

ArcPro 3.2.4

Licensing portal is Enterprise 11.2

Enterprise is configured with our AD with SAML

I've tried clearing chrome cache, Pro cache (Display<Options<Clear cache now), changing licensing portal to ArcGIS Online and deleting/readding enterprise licensing portal, our IT Dept. looked through all sorts of windows stuff.

Any ideas for other places to look to release hold on ArcPro signin?

I'm not entirely how this got reset, but I eventually able to get the user to login with her credentials.

I reached out for help and confirmed that this login shouldn't persist if I uncheck the remember me login.  So I tried again change licensing portals and unchecking the remember me box with no luck- still remembered me.  But when I went tried this and clicked signin in using browser, it remembered her profile (!??).  Doesn't seem to make sense but user is signed in and issue resolved.  Thank you!

if you go to the Portals Option, you can sign out of AGOL and any portals you are connecting to.

It appears that when you sign out of all of them, the sign in dialog pops up.  If not, you can then click the three dots to sign back in to get to the sign in dialog box.  There you can un-check the sign in automatically.

Thank you Rhett!

I tried that but the problem persists.  Our Pro signin also uses our AD and that's where the problem seems to be.  Unchecking the Sign in automatically doesn't matter, it still remembers the wrong profile when clicking the County button.  I forgot to mention that I tried unchecking the sign in automatically and signed in as a named user with no changes.  Thanks again, Chad

Hey @ChadTheismann

Looking at the other comment, here's some additional steps I'd try, which may need your IT dept.

  1. First, try checking the windows Credential Manager to see if your credentials are stored there, sometimes they're weird names like OneDrive with letters and numbers after it.
  2. Try to add your portal once more, so there would be another instance in the portal section that Rhett's showing, it may let you sign in with those credentials.
  3. Finally, I'd try to uninstall Pro, and reinstall to see if it's able to clear the credential caching or Registry items.

That's what I'd try personally, and if it still didn't work after that, I'd reach out to ESRI support, as there may be an issue with where it's storing the cached credentials, always something strange with logins!

Thank you for those suggestions Cody!   I did try 1- I deleted a bunch of stuff- nothing clearly ArcGIS related but to no avail.  I also tried 2 with no luck.  I'm trying to avoid the 3rd option of reinstalling.  I'm going to reach out to support and will report back.   Thanks again!
