ArcPro Classification Wizard

I am trying to run an Object Based classification using ArcPro. The part that I am having trouble with is generating a classification scheme from my existing feature class. I have a feature class containing information on tree genus, a value tied to that genus, an Object_ID field, and the necessary geometry and spatial columns. Whenever I load my feature class I receive the error message "Failed to generate classification schema from training samples". Could someone tell me what I am doing wrong? Do the columns need to have a specific name? Am I missing some information? Any help is appreciated.

Hi Daniel,

you used the NLCD2011classification schema. This schema is not suitable for your purpose.

You have to go to the classification tools - training samples manager and "Create a new Schema" thats appropiate for your classes. With this new Schema you can go to the Object based Classification.
