Our organization recently installed and updated ArcGISPro on 4 different desktops. For three of them, we can create a database connections and access the feature datasets within. However, the 4th one brings up a Connection Error message when we enter in the identical connection and authentication information. It says
"Connection Error
Unable to get database list
A database connection exception has occurred.
Unable to connect to database server to retrieve database list; please verify your server name, user name and password info and try again.
Connection was attempted with an older version of SQL Server client communications software that is not supported.[]"
The suggested verification troubleshooting for server name/user/password hasn't worked. Are there any other likely factors that I should be checking?
Thanks,
ZJK

Hello,
Make sure you have the compatible SQL native client and/or ODBC drivers installed for your version of ArcGIS Pro.

Hi,
For this issue, we added in an older ODBC Driver 17 to allow the geodatabase to connect.
Thanks,
