Curious if there is a way to predict rough timelines for Pro releases.  3.4 released in November.  We should expect 3.5 around when? Juneish before the UC? Earlier or later? And is this release cycle common?

Thank you!

As Dan posted, you can review the build numbers for various releases of ArcGIS Pro and see a trend.

3.5 - ???
3.4 - November 7, 2024
3.3 - May 7, 2024
3.2 - November 7, 2023
3.1 - February 23, 2023
3.0 - June 23, 2022
2.9 - November 11, 2021

I cannot state publicly but if I had to provide an educated guess based upon this trend, ArcGIS Pro 3.5 will likely be available before the 2025 International Users Conference so customers can use the release for a period of time before the UC and attend with questions at the ready.

FAQ: What Are the Build Numbers for Releases of ArcGIS Pro?

you can scroll back through time and see when the major release dates were.  They aren't time-fixed, they are fixed when they feel they are done and that depends on what other factors affect a release (eg major python changes)

...but it's always a safe bet that there will be a late spring release to give ESRI something to tout at the User Conference.

Enterprise 11.5 is expected on the 22nd of May, assuming no delays. Pro 3.5 would be before that I think 😉

The ArcGIS Pro hardware checker now includes 3.5 so I think it will not be too far off.

Glad to see it out. Will there be a patch before the end of summer? The College ITS will only update software once a year, so these spring launches means we are typically a full year behind, as I don't like teaching on the unpatched versions.

Yes, the first week of June 2025, there will be ArcGIS Pro 3.5.1 released.  You can read more about it here in this Tech Support article - In ArcGIS Pro 3.5, Calculate Field does not honor selection or layer filters when using SQL as the e...

Likely ArcGIS Pro 3.5.2 will be released during the summer months as well.  Hope this helps!
