My C: drive is a 2TB nvme ssd and my 😧 drive is a 512GB nvme ssd. The 2TB is slightly faster so that's why I made it my boot drive.

I have the software installed to the default locations on my C: drive:

C:\Users\XXX\Documents\ArcGIS Pro 3.0.3

C:\Program Files\ArcGIS

I am considering storing my projects and data on my 😧 drive:

D:\projects

D:\data

I want to maximize read/write speeds over time, make efficient use of the space I have, and keep my file/folder names as concise as possible. Is this a reasonable approach? How do other ArcGIS Pro users organize their files and data? If I intend to use Python with ArcGIS Pro, does this have any implications for how I structure my files and data starting out?

storage space is less of an issue than ram and your video as you will see.

32 GB ram (min in my opinion) and at least 8 for video

... sort of retired...
