ArcGIS Pro an absolute nightmare after update. How has everyone else's experience been?

Since I updated ArcGIS Pro to the latest version, it has been a nightmare to use. Not only have I experienced corruption of multiple shapefiles during editing, but the program locks up during the most simple of tasks. Select by attributes, export data, updating fields, field calculate, even panning cause a lockup. It's nearly unusable at this point and extremely frustrating. I have never had issues like this before.

Example: I am running an "Export Data" task. This would take 10-15 seconds with even the largest files previously. At the moment, I have already been waiting 20 minutes and the window shows 2% completed.

I'm losing my mind. What do I do?

I'd start by contacting Esri Technical Support if you haven't already.

Unfortunately, the online form doesn't work for me either. Very strange.

It is very slow to do basic tasks again on 3.0.3

Manage your local cache and give it the three-finger salute when it crashes every 30min...

Also turn off the backup in options.

I guess if you do everything is local it's okay, but when tethered to AGOL it is dog slow.

Need to have the option to move the AGOL data closer.

Can do that when creating a new organization, but once you are working it's too late....

Updated back to 2.9.3.  Most my "issues" went away.

Several items to try to narrow down what's causing the issue.

1.  Do a full uninstall and a clean install of ArcGIS Pro.  For me, every time there's a major release, say 2.9 to 3.0, I follow this workflow and have experienced minimal problems.
2.  Rename the ESRI folder in your c:/users/<user_profile>/appdata/local and c:/users/<user_profile>/appdata/roaming to ESRI_OLD - this is a soft reset of ArcGIS Pro.
3.  Uninstall the latest update by going to your Control Panel->Uninstall a program->View installed updates (upper left) and uninstall the latest ArcGIS Pro patch.

Hope this helps!
