Arcgis Pro 3.1.3 Empty values when using Join Field

Hello,

In previous version of Arc Pro I would use the Join Field Data Tool to grab a URL from a SQL database and create a column in a layer based on the report number of the row/record. This worked well until 3.1.0. Now, when I use the Join Field tool it completes successfully but for rows that have a URL in the 'press_release' column the cell is empty not null.

I have tried joining the layer and the query and then calculating the fields. This works but only manually if I recreate the calculation. I can not use the previous step in the History tab.

Does anyone know how to get the Join Field tool to work correctly again or a way to get the calculated fields option to work so that I can automate the process using python?

I believe I have found the solution.

I created joins on the stand alone table that has my main dataset with the other stand alone tables that have the URLs. Then I exported the main table and ran 'Display X/Y' on the main table. Saved and closed the project and reopened it and the process still works!
