I got a new HP (2024 Envy) and transferred via hard drive all my data/maps and got ArcGIS Pro up on the new computer. It opens and functions fine EXCEPT that I cannot get ArcGIS to recognize any of my .aprx files. It finds all the layers just fine, but none of the previously made maps. Any suggestions would be most helpful.

Thank you!!

The latest version of ArcGIS Pro is version 3.2.2, whereas ArcGIS Desktop (ArcMap) is at version 10.8. You cannot load an ArcGISPro .aprx file directly into ArcMap by default but there seems to be a work around going through ArcGIS Online: https://mediaspace.esri.com/media/t/1_zsiue1vb

You can Import an ArcMap .mxd file into ArcGIS Pro, which  is probably what you want to do. .
