Can anyone point me to resources for using ArcGIS (specifically ArcPy) on a Beowulf cluster?
A PhD candidate is using a Beowulf cluster to process large datasets in R; this student also wants to utilize ArcPy on the Beowulf cluster to process this data.
I searched Esri's resources but I didn't find anything for Beowulf clusters. Since I haven’t found anything in the Esri resources, I’m curious to know if if anyone else has experience using ArcPy on a Beowulf cluster and/or if you would advise using a different process to process a large dataset.
I’d like to provide this student with reasonable advice to accomplish their analysis and/or assist the Beowulf cluster administrator who isn't familiar with Esri products.
