Arc Pro connection to SQL - very slow

Hi! I'm looking for best practice ideas for connection to SQL tables in ArcPro. 

I need to connect to a new very large SQL tables of points on a weekly basis. I've connected to the database in a pro project. However, each time I reopen the project I have to wait for it to index all the contents of the SQL database. This can take all day! Each table could contain a query of 1million+ points.

Is there a better way to maintain this when I close the project out? #connection issues‌ #sql servers‌ #pro is slow‌

I have a bug on "symgology changes are really slow when coming from SDE".

Can you provide more details on the symbology change bug when data resides in SDE (maybe a bug#)?  I would like to see if this issue occurs for my org using an Oracle database in Pro, as ESRI seems to limit their bugs to a specific RDBMS when the issue is sometimes RDBMS agnostic.
