Hello, I've been struggling with this all week. After creating a map in Pro, I publish it to AGOL. When I refresh the map back in Pro and try to overwrite, I receive an error message saying, "application stopped working" and then Pro shuts down. Error reports have been submitted, but I'm not sure what is next. My latest error report is this if that helps:

ArcGISPro_3.6.2.59530_C52F0A0C-7909-4AC3-AC49-1E3E98718407_02_25_2026_19_29_46.dmp

I can publish the file again, no problem, but the overwrite crashes Pro.

I'm pretty new to using Pro and would love some feedback.

Thank you so much,

Angie

Hi @AngelaNesius

Can you please describe the exact workflow you are using to publish and overwrite?

Are your projects saved to OneDrive/do you have backups syncing to OneDrive?

Try opening a new project, save the folder to your local C: drive, add one layer to the project, export the layer (right-click/Data/Export features), republish, edit the feature layer, and try overwriting again.

If ArcGIS Pro still crashes, try the steps detailed in this article...

ArcGIS Pro fails to start with a serious application error

@AngelaNesius I sent you a direct message requesting your email. If you have submitted your crash report with your email address I can look it up based on your email address to see if there are additional details to be shared.
