Is it possible to adjust the 'reference' layer that comes with some basemaps, e.g. Dark Gray Canvas?
The layer would be 'Dark Gray Reference' in this case and I would like to remove some of the references in it but not all.

GIS moved on and nobody needs a format consisting out of at least three files! No, nobody needs shapefiles, not even for the sake of an exchange format. Folks, use GeoPackage to exchange data with other GIS!
