I have researched and tried to find a direct answer to this question and have gotten close but not exactly on how to do the following:
I have a feature class on a map that is for street lights that are getting converted to LED. Once the street light is installed I have been tasked with updating a few fields for that street light feature class. One thing that would be helpful with other scripts I want to use is to have a field that has the nearest home address to the street light.
What can I do to join the address from a nearby home to each street light ? There isn't a layer with the address. I have to search the address within the map from the search bar in arcmap from Esri's search service.
