When using the XY To Line tool, the optional "ID" field allows to copy a row from the input table to the destination feature. However, this field doesn't accept the ObjectID field from the input table, thus keeping from realizing easy joins. Allowing the ID to contain the initial ID field would be a great time saving.
On the other hand, why not directly allow to add several fields from the input table instead of this single one as an option?
