Hi,
When exporting a layout in Pro, there are only two options available: embed fonts and vectorize picture markers.
Because laser printers, such as Xerox, use a RIP to convert the PDF into an image, it results in rendering errors.
Currently, to ensure high-quality output, we have to import the exported PDF into another software, convert all text to outlines, and re-export the PDF.
Adding an option to convert everything to vectors (including fonts) with a specified vector resolution would be ideal, as it would save us an entire step in the production process."
Hi, also, since printing a PDF with a laser printer is tricky, add an option to clean the PDF output.
It's take us a lot of time to pinpoint the problem. PDF 1.7 use by Pro, included a lot of informations making the RIP of our Xerox to make printing mistakes.
For now, we scripted the share export to PDF to use the layersAndAttributes = "NONE". By doing so, no more Xerox problem, for now anyway. Scripting also bypass the buy introduce in 3.1 who make printing a pain in a ... Making natively available, and correcting the bug, could be a great improvement.
