ArcGIS should support the ingestion of .spz files used for gaussian splat collection. Niantic collections of spz files are becoming more common as anyone with a phone can start collecting them. We could augment our 3D maps with data captured from these gaussian splats. Quickcapture could help capture them too. Hi ESRI, can we get an update on this. This is a revolutionary technology and is the new trend that wildly discussed in the survey industry. Soon our survey team will come to our GIS team to ask if we could load this to ESRI map, and we all would be disappointed if we told them no, and they will go find their own solutions.
Hi, with the announcements around Gaussian splat support in ArcGIS pro 3.6, can we please get an update on what file formats are supported, including industry standards such as ply and spz.
i hope that ArcGIS pro will be interoperable with other reality model generation tools that are outside the Esri ecosystem.
