ArcGIS Pro 3.1

Steps:

  1. Add a line FC to the map.
  2. Edit the FC by creating a new feature.
  3. Undo the last edit.
  4. ArcGIS Pro undoes the edit. But it also removes the FC from the map.

Could that behavior be changed so that only the edit is undone, not the previous action of adding the FC to the map?

Splitting Map actions and Edit actions as requested in the idea is already possible:

That said, even I am showing All, I still see the ability to undo just the 'Create' without removing the layer:

If you're seeing different behavior, that may need to be investigated. You could ask a Question to work through it with other Community Members, or call tech support.

For my notes, I only see the "All" dropdown when automatic edit saving is turned off.

And as Kory mentioned, I can undo the Create:

However, if I re-enable automatic edit saving, then I no longer have the option to undo the edit.

In hindsight, in my original post/scenario, I realize the edit wasn't actually undone. Only the layer was removed.

The root cause seems to be: When automatic edit saving is enabled, we can't undo edits.
