Right now one must make separate map items for each data grouping they wish to publish from the Share as Web Map pane. It would be more ideal if, within the Share as Web Map pane in ArcGIS Pro, users could de-select specific layers they don’t want to share to the portal and instead keep only in their local map without making a duplicate map. Being able to choose which layers to publish directly from one map would simplify the workflow of publishing a Web Map with desired layer set up and symbology, reduce duplicate maps, and give more control over what gets shared versus what stays local.
