Czech legal regulations require the exclusive use of the “Portable Document Format for the Long-term Archiving” (PDF/A, ISO 19005) for the purposes of filing services and document archiving for static combined text and graphic documents (typically spatial plans).
The authors of these documents (maps) very often use ESRI technology (ArcGIS Pro) and currently they are forced to use additional software to convert PDF files to PDF/A format.
As representatives of the ministry responsible for this matter, we would like to request that Esri improve the export options for maps and drawings into this format.
